I have the z7 and love it. I had the Hoyt maxxis but traded it in for the z7 cause I liked it better. Best bow I have ever shot in my life. Havnt shot the dxt though.

Buddy has both bows..He went with me to my place 3 days ago and I didn't see his dxt..His dxt is smooth on the draw and pretty quite..My Reezen 6.5 is quiter and faster..I say shoot both and let the best one pick you!

I shoot Z7 and LOVE it!!! best bow I ever fired!! And I have shot all kinds from bowtech, hoyt, now Mathews!!

I shoot the DXT as well and love the bow. You can't go wrong with a Mathews. It just comes down to what you are comfortable with.

Shot the z7 and didn't like it. Just wasn't for me. The DXT shot good for me on the other hand, and im not a matthews fan.
