I am looking at buying a pop up blind. I am curious on your thoughts about getting one with or without a floor and why? Also good brand worth the money.

Thanks

I heard the ones with a floor make noise! I like my Primos but only can compare to a $60 pop up. For rifle you can use something smaller then with a bow. Go look at them at Cabelas and see what you like. Obvious difference in quality you can see rather then read about.

Thanks. I was considering the $50 Ameristop Pop Up Blind form Academy. I like the idea of having the floor to throw gloves etc on and not worry about them getting in the mud but I would think the floors might be noisy which would defeat the purpose of the blind.

Go without the floor. Look at the Ameristep Doghouse. Its fairly cheap and roomy enough for 2 adults.

I have a hub style blind that I build a stand for. It sits two feet off the ground and is 6x6. turned out great and gives you peice of mind about the rattlebugs.

No floor. For the price a kill zone turret xl

Depends how tall you are. If your tall get a bigger one

I've never used one before, but just tonight I ordered this one for $45. It's 5' by 5'. I didn't even think about the floor being a problem for causing noise.

dont get a floor. then make a platform out or 4x4s, 2x4s and plywood whatever height you want off the ground. keeps you dry and away from critters. if you make the platform high up, you can have a door in the platform to enter the blind through the floor.

There not cheap but I use the double bull 360 and have never found a pop-up that comes close. Not sure if there still made with the same quality though, since Primos took them over...

I have some wood pallets on the place. I may throw one of the pallets down and set the blind up on/around it. At least for this season and see how that works.

Ameristep Patriot was about $100 @ Cabelas. No floor.

I use the no floor, but first clear out all the grass and stuff to get a dirt floor.

No floor. That way you don't have to worry about stumps, rocks and other debris that you may not be able to avoid.

I won't own a pop-up without a floor. I hate snakes. Throw some scrap carpet down and it doesn't make any noise at all.
