What are the best digital cameras in the 350-400 dollar range?

I buy most of my camera stuff from Beach Camera and B&H Photo and Video online. I would call them and tell them what you are looking for and get their feedback. You can search their online sight for cameras in the price range you are looking for also. Read customer feedback and reviews also.

She just wants a good point and click. Size dont matter, i would rather have good picture quality. She complains about the one she has now because you have to be very still or it takes blury pictures. Its 7 years old and was a cheapie when i bought it.

I would suggest a camera that is a little larger and heavier in weight. For me I can hold the larger camera much better with less shake for better pics. SLR type camera would be my vote.

Canon G9 if you can find one will fall in that range. G10 is the new model, but probably a little more than $400. Take into account if video is important.

This website probably has the best info.
