shot these 1/2 mile from my house here on the south end of san antonio.
the one in the back was estimated at 400lbs
its carcass, no head guts feet or hide weighed 260lbs at the meat locker

This picture doesn't do this boar justice. I think he was around 350-375 lbs. My sister's boyfriend on the left shot him in between the eyes in one of our bow blinds. I was in the blind and when that boar popped out I almost ripped the gun out of his hand.

Looks like a free range domestic hog.

I have trapped and killed hundreds of hogs and only have 1 that was barely 300lbs. You hear about 300 and now 400, 500lb+ hogs on here all time. I think a lot of folks have a hard time with guessing weight and distance of shot

I have shot 200lb hogs that seemed like 650 by the time I got them out of the field but that doesnt count.

This is my biggest i didnt weigh it but u guys can put a weight on it for me. I am thinking close to five or right on it.The skin was about inch 1/2 good luck. I took this one with my Savage 308 with a standard 7.62 Army round clean shot at 100yrds he ran about 25 yards and hit the dirt.

365 lbs taken on the Nail Ranch with a 7 1/2 inch 44 Blackhawk.

Largest for me was 325 lbs. No pics but do have his head mounted. Weighed in 3 parts-carcass,guts, and head & hide..since my scale only went to 200#'s back then. Was with a guy that shot a huge hog in the Pipe Creek area..everyone guessed it at 300+ lbs. Took it a scale and weighed him before field dressing and skinning and he weighed 280...so they always look bigger than what they are. Like most have said they are not as big as they look if they are not weighed.

I shot this beast as I was driving to the back of Camp Cooley Ranch to pick up deer hunters. Right at 300#

my biggest so far was 160 field dressed. seen some & shot at couple over 200 - never seen one (in person, not on a game cam) that was over 300

If I run into a 700 lb'er, i hope i'm in my stand & not on the ground

we just kill 'em..rarely weigh them or even take pics, but did come across these two. (usually the ones posing for a photo-op were shot from the porch)





just haven't felt like shooting him....(but he won't go 300)

I have killed probably 2 dozen hogs in my life, and i think its a stretch to say the biggest one was 150 lbs. I see plenty of hogs, but i never see big hogs. Most i have killed have been in the 50-100 lb range. Like around this size...



No complaints though, these are the best size for eating! Think the one on the right went 115 lb, and that was about the 2nd or 3rd biggest one i have ever killed. Got these 3 in only 2 shots.

lol yea nice polo. But TX KILLER is def right Domestic hog for sure saw a couple more on here that were also. Anytime you get over the 400 lb mark you got to suspect domestic blood line. It dont make them any less wild but tend to grow alot bigger alot faster.

A guy shot one about 8 miles south of weatherford about six years ago that wieghed 426 pounds. I wish i still had the pics but i know that was the wieght becuase i wieghrd it for him at the ffed store i worked for. That was a monster

True but there really isnt anything to brag about if your shooting Wilbur from Charlotte's web! A flat nose floppy eared pig in the wild really isnt wild yet and chances are you will be able to walk right up on it for a kill wich is flat out lame if you ask me.

serious we have no idea about that sucker, no pig farm around here, could be some 4H kids hog that got away or let loose, all I know is theres tons of hogs in this area, no pig farms around and wilbur shows up in the field, dont know anything more than that. Wasnt going to try and pet him thats for sure.
