E TX. $600.00 per year. Full time access. Barn with electricity. Haul our own water in.
1900 acres. Great lease for ducks and hogs.
I love it. It's worth the $600.00 just to blow the cobwebs out of my head and get the hell away from the metromess.

$0 in Gatesville. 1 hunter 100 acres. 2 badarse campers. My buddy owns the property and he lives in New Jersey. He stays out there when he comes down to visit(about once a month). He plans on moving back and building a house but he is several years away from doing that. He loves having me out there because it puts someone on his place when he isnt there.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

East Texas leases don't count.
Menard area, you should expect to pay $10-14 per acre.

Stephens County - $1200/gun on 900 acres year round access. We also charge $200/gun feed charge plus abt $125/gun electric. Nice cabin with full kitchen - have electric but water is daisy chain barrels - six 80 gallon barrels with pumps feed the cabin and trailers. We have 7 guns, but in reality only 3 of us hunt regular - the other 4 show up maybe 2x/yr.

I don't pay. I hunt on wife's family's properties. But I guarantee I work more than most people pay. always up there welding fence, cutting roads, working on equipment. But it is VERY worth it. 2000 acres Cooke county
We also have a company/family lease that is in lampasas that is 4500 acres. I only hunt there three of four times a year.

We keep the fences, barn, and bush hogging in good shape and get to hunt for some backstrap or a hind quarter to the owner. Deer, hogs, ducks and some BIG bass in the pond.

Erath County south of Thurber, 500ac well maintained with 4 hunters, $1800/gun. That price includes them filling, maintaining feeders and planting many acres(20-25) of food plots!! Electric and trailer included, 1hr 45min from home!! Great place with terrific owners!! They coulodn't blow me out of there with dynamite! I will be there as long as they will have me!!

Mason county, 6 guns, 640 acres, $1k/gun year round access.
My neighbor's great grandfather negotiated the lease back in the late 50s. We'll keep it as long as we are able to!
