It's not a gloss finish, but it's not a flat matte finish either. I am really pleased with the finish. As far as the options, if you look on the website I picked out the Royalty Camo 520. It looks better on the gun than it does on the website.

I've got a Rem 1100 that needs it done before duck season. This was a hydro dip process. I had this done not so much for the look, but for the protection from the elements while out hunting.
