I would like to hunt at one place and wirelessly be able to monitor two other locations while sitting at the one place. The range is at least 1/8 to 1/4 mile with one hill in the middle. Anyone doing this now for your hog hunting? I always feel as if I am in the wrong place at the right time. Lets keep the cost reasonable, I am wanting just below James Bond grade stuff, in fact Chinese made is fine... Lets say the budget is 2 - 3 hundred... I have thought about those webcams, where you click on a link and it shows you the live feed. But that would require an aircard and service to boot. Otherwise I have looked through a raft full of 2.8 and 5.8 ghz systems with a anemic range of 100 - 300 feet.... Thanks lets hear some ideas!!!

Just stalk each feeder until you get tired of doing it lol I prefer to make my stalking count... Heck it would nearly have to be a sure thing to get me out of camp when the steaks are hot and the beers are cold. I think it would be cool to see the hogs on "camera" and begin the stalk on foot knowing the target is going to be there rather then driving up on them and having to shoot while hanging out of the truck window.

It's a common delema and I feel for ya. No matter where you go, it seems like they show up at another feeder. IMO, best thing to do is set up game cams at each feeder, then check them early enough in the day so that you know what the activity is, and then make your hunt plan from there.
I kinda reverse engineer my setups. I'll have 2-3 feeders I can watch from one stand location. What usually doesn't go into one feeder, will go into the other. Sometimes it just all comes together I guess.
Good luck!!!!

Very good information, this would be a Plan B. I hesitate to jump all over it because of the amount of racoons we get at our feeders. I really am after a video image, which I don't necessarily need LIVE streaming video, I conceive of a system where you click on a link and it shows you a still image of what is currently at the camera's location... Like this: http://www.kroooz-cams.com/carnivalindex.htmlUnder the photo you can choose Bridge Cam or Aft Cam, etc... Not sure what goes into setting up this type of system.

I've been thinking about this very problem for a few seasons now and I think I have come up with a solution. Do you know if you have 3g coverage in that area? Can you get electricity to the feeders or will it need to be battery powered?

SIMPLE SOLUTION, IF THEY ARE REGULARS HAVE ONE FEEDER GO OFF 30MIN TO 1HR BEFORE THE OTHER. I am not a regular, I make it out to the lease maybe once a month, and I have 3 areas of hunting possibilities. What I am after is sitting at one feeder and monitoring the other two simulatenously as described above. MAXIMIZING MY HUNTING OPPORTUNITIES THE ONE TO TWO DAYS I HUNT A MONTH.

OF COURSE I WAS KIDDING. DEPENDING ON THE BUDGET YOU COULD GET A COUPLE OF SMARTSCOUTERS AND HAVE THEN AUTO SEND THE PICS TO YOUR PHONE. YOU'LL GET THE PIC ABOUT 30 SECONDS AFTER THE PHOTO IS TAKEN.
