I'm manipulating the diet of a few bucks to see if I can get them to have a 35" rack this year. Before pic, they look like hell!

You might wanna add a few strands of wire on that fence once those antlers start sprouting!.....Just sayin!
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

[quote=Johnny Loco]I'm manipulating the diet of a few bucks to see if I can get them to have a 35" rack this year. Johnny, some of these people just don't get it, but I do. Those kind of deer are easy to grow if you just let them get a little age on them.
My wife's only thing is it can't stare at her when she is eating or sleeping!

I was being facetious. Johnny Loco thinks he can grow 200lb+ deer with 30"+ width racks free range in the hill country.
Actually, he doesn't believe that, but he likes to argue with people about it on the forum.
I was just messing with him.

CBHunter,
Actually, I guess you do get it. The key word here is "grow". Hunting just ain't what it used to be.
I used to think golf was a sissy sport.

florida uses feeders just as much as texas does. they have to string them high up in trees so the bears won't get at them
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I know. Johnny Loco made that statement on another thread.
It took 2 seconds to find that 22 states allow baiting.

was it in the same thread about how 30 inch bucks in the hill country "are an everyday thing"?
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Maybe 35" tall but good luck on 35" wide.
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.
