Anyone ever owned one? I was thinking about trying to train it to do some type of hunting or just make it a loyal companion. Any input would be helpful.
Thanks

My great uncle had blues, red and Shepard's, some bread together they made great cow dogs and loyal friends. A few were really good at killing snakes, skunks and opossums. Never seen one get a bird though. I have a blue heeler female and she is a great retriever of toys but not birds. If you can make'em hunt that would be something. Good Luck.
