Hey Everyone

I have been looking at two diffrent rangefinders. I would like to get yalls opinion on them.

1. The Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC

2. Nikon prostaff 550. I was looking at the Archers choice but I have heard some bad things about it. like it dosen't like to work in fog, rain, and high humidity

What do yall think of these two rangefinders.

I'm getting ready to come back from Iraq, and I have been wanting to get one of these.

I hope everyone is having a good hunting season

Welcome, I have the Nikon 440, which the 550 replaced it. It serves its purpose and I have no need for anything beyond that range.

Make sure you try them both out.

Good luck

welcome
what kind of distance do you need?
where will you be hunting?
the bushnell legend 1200 is pretty good if you need longer marks
leica has probably the tightest beam for under $800 and will handle long marks.

if you are hunting under 300 yards, then either of your choices should work.

I have the Bushnell 1000ARC and its worked and keeps working, even in wet and cold and banging around. It also comes with preset ballistic compensation for everything from arrows, black powder and long gun. I've also noticed it can tell range difference within a couple feet because when I set my bow pins it will change up or down a yard by moving half a step.

Girlfriend would be mad if I didn't mention that she bought me this for Christmas last year.
