Yeah, one of the other guys on the lease asked me, "Can you imagine what he'd be like next year?" I said, "Yes, I imagine he'd be on someone else's wall!"

in that last pic, the face sure looks old and gray. How old is that buck? You have to figure he is old enough to have probably peaked on mass and points.

We're thinking he isn't too old. 4 1/2 years maybe. I haven't seen the jaw yet (at the taxidermist getting pulled now) but it didn't feel very worn at all.

Great Buck!
Did you know he was that big before you nailed him?

Hold your gun straight, and turn your cell phone sideways... when shooting video.

I didn't have time to contemplate it really. I knew he was a giant, but I didn't think he was 200 class. He was big enough that at no point in the process did I question weather or not I should shoot him.

That is a dang nice deer. Congrats to your son.

Not that it matters but being MLD they can hunt with rifles right now so was it a rifle kill or bow kill?

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Rifle. I hit him on a dead sprint at just under 100yards (I think) with a .338 Win Mag.
