 Got my first Woodie.

We got out to the lake especially early today since we usually see a lot of pressure on the lake. I decided to set up away from all of the mess and used a hole that I scouted earlier in the week. It was flooded but was able to find a good spot. Most of the birds we saw today were really high. Had a couple groups flare from just a single quack on the call. Was a tough crowd today. But I finally shot a nice Woodie Drake. A first for me and Jake's first retrieve of the year.
