Man, was that show awesome!!! That was my number one show growing up, and still watched some of the reruns up until they stopped showing them all together a few years ago. I had the The Dukes of Hazzard lunch box, bed sheets, drapes on the windows, towels, Hot Wheel cars, you name it. A show like that wouldn't even be considered, let alone have a chance today. Crazy! That first episode back in the day when it debuted was edgy. So great. Lost something when they moved production to California.

My favorite show of all time as a kid. Loved the Duke boys. One of my life long dreams is to own a General Lee....maybe one day. I still remember all the words to the intro song.

I have the first two seasons on BluRay. The first two episodes are pretty rowdy. Bikinis, language, innuendo ... CBS got griped at and the producers calmed it down.

Show went downhill when John Schneider left it to pursue a movie and singing career; replacing him with the blonde headed cousin sucked. Dude was a terrible actor and when Schneider had come back, the magic of first couple of seasons was gone. Wopat looked ready to move on by that time.
More a fan of Lee Majors and "The Fall Guy". GIve me some Heather Thomas and Markie Post too.
