I spoke with Mike (Mulie Mike) several weeks ago, inquiring about the same. We spoke about a pretty good thing going on with axis doe. Not sure if he is still doing it as he said to follow up with him after the first of the year. I would have, but was fortunate enough to get what I needed.

You better expect to pay plenty for Axis Does. They are bringing around $500 each at the auction now.

500 is cheap does of all kinds have double or tripled in price. Been trying to find some to stock new ranch and it’s crazy what they are bringing

Exotic Bucks have also gone way up. Yesterday I saw a good Axis Buck sell for around $7000 on WB.

Just saw about a 12 inch Blackbuck sell for over $1900 and females for $750 each. Last year before the big freeze I sold some for $150 each. It is getting a little crazy out there.

Guess we just have to ride the wave or pay the price.

My brother lost another Axis doe this week. He suspected coyotes but a Wildlife Expert said it was most likely a cat based on kill location under a tree. The freeze knocked him down from 10 to 3. Now he has 1.

Their prices have skyrocketed. I suppose in another couple years they should come back down. Hopefully
