Have a place between junction and Sonora. Seeing a lot of axis with deformed racks, broken antlers, and asymmetric growth. I’ve heard the big freeze we had early this year has impacted the exotics. Anybody seeing the same thing? Any idea if these animals will grow normal racks in the years to come?

Hey, at least you're seeing axis. I've read where 50% of the herd was killed, and as high as 60% of blackbuck.
Since we've not experienced this level of cold in our lifetime, you're in a good position to find out the impact on antler growth with the survivors on your place.
Let us know what you see this season & over the next few years. I'm curious to see the impact - my guess is most of the current generation will have some type of unbalanced growth, which might even make for some unusual trophies. Take some photos if you get a chance.

I shot one in June towards Sonora. Had super dark horns but otherwise looked normal. Saw a ton of them too
