Does anyone have proof of a 40" or over axis being taken or darted and measured? By proof I mean official score card or picture/video evidence of the measuring.
This one went up on one of the Facebook hunting groups a while back. If I recall they said it taped out at 40" but I dont recall any pics to prove it. I have my doubts.

Congrats on the new place Steve. You are in the middle of some great Axis country for sure!
Steve he is about 35 but I didn't measure him before I left. He's a hell of a buck but no where near 40". I should get the mount back on him this fall and I'll measure him then! The first and second photo are of him before I shot him.

Definetly a great axis he has it all.width, length , mass and tine length.

Thanks Steve. I had a PM about why I didn't measure him and score him. The score is what it is. If I like the way he looks I'll shoot him and if I don't I wont.
