Looking for a hunt - Dec 19th??? - 11/28/15 05:53 PM

Hello

I am very new to hunting and looking for help as well with any success....how to harvest for example
I live in Tucson, AZ, open to drive within 3-4 hrs of El Paso, maybe a little further
Not looking for a trophy hunt, just a chance to get out for a few days and potentially get some meat...

Open to lodging and food if I need to find it close by or if included, depending on price?

I am able to be there on December 19--need to be back in Tucson by December 24th....and an option might be to bring a NON-hunter (wife) the week of Dec 27 - Jan 2 (some period in there) if that is an option (she wont go out with me, but would she like to sit somewhere quiet and do nothing is an option)

Any thoughts/options?
Thanks

Steve

I would like to be around $500 but open depending on the opportunity and days
under $1,000 would be best

BUT--looking at sites, not sure if I am being "fair" so, open for consideration

Thanks!--what does that include?
I would need a non-resident deer license, correct?

Thanks again

I believe your best bet is to spend the extra money on an exotic doe and buy the 5 day NR Special Hunt licsense for about $50. I think Heathe has some exotic does that are only slightly higher than the WT does.

agree--that does seem best. Spending nearly $400 for a license is better spent in other ways
I am open....thks
