Looking for Some Meat/Doe Hunts - 11/09/15 07:40 PM
Just like the title says I'm looking for some meat/doe hunts to fill a freezer.
I'm actually looking for 2 separate hunts. The first would be for 3 people and the second would be for 2-3 people depending on price, location, etc.
We'd be looking to hunt January-February although we can probably be flexible if needed.
Not really partial to any species but just looking to get a buddy who's had a string of bad luck over the past few years onto some animals and get some meat in the freezer.
It'd be cool if lodging and meals were included but not a requirement. My ideal trip would look something like showing up Friday evening (probably late), hanging out and hunting Saturday morning through Sunday morning (or evening if required). Most interested in spot/stalk but not a requirement. Never been on an exotic hunt or a HF ranch so not sure if that's even utilized much for this type of hunting.
We're located in Houston with the exception of one guy living in South Texas. Somewhere around San Antonio would be ideal as it's roughly halfway but we can travel if needed.
We've all got rifles although I'd be interested in bowhunting if it's an option.
