Does anyone know someone who would be willing to let a group come down and hunt turkey for a bit on their land? We would be glad to cook the turkey for yall as well! Feel free to direct contact me if you or anyone is willing to let us come down to the land for a day.

How many in your group?

Have some pretty good turkey hunting.

Only $750 per day per hunter. Lodging extra.

Really a sticker shock for me tho. I'd never looked into buying a turkey hunt.

Quail always seemed like a rich man's choice. I'm just a poor beaver trapper..... who has private turkey access. Quail been gone for 10 years now.

Yes. we want to cook a good feast. Is there no free hunting? I am new to the hunting scene, I want to make friends more than anything.

Ah shucks, yea there are like no hunters near me, not sure if you can even hunt in the backyard. It really is a disadvantage.

Check out any and all public access around you. If there is any corp of engineer lands, they allow hunting as well. I'm lucky to have private access, but I still scout public lands anywhere I can.

If you want to make friends and hunt, perhaps you should offer work services in exchange for hunting. Nobody is going to have you and your buddies come hunt their land for free in hopes of you becoming their friend.

Man U got to probably pay ur way first and I met a great group of guys I hunt with that started off just that way and now I go couple times a year and they now trust me and get a few more things to hunt at times with no extra cost. Heck those folks put big money in those ranches and work their tails off so when they cut me a break I reciprocate however I can. I try to help them do things when I’m out there and am glad to do it. Guy even gives me gate access to come and go and has big money behind that gate. Until u earn that kinda trust u ain’t touching that gate. Pay ur dues and friends come but most ain’t gonna hand it to u.

$750 a day is steep but having land to hunt ain't cheap. If they have turkeys someone will find it as a deal. We get $950 for the weekend with two birds included as well as lodging.
