Cooke County Birds?

Anyone been on Cooke County public land looking for birds? Never been out that way so thought I’d see if anyone has had luck out there before.

I've been looking at the corp land maps around lake texoma. Looks like it could hold some turkey, but I'm a newbie. Haven't scouted anything.
