Yesterday morning in Young county near Murray, TX. Got there a little late, 7:30 and saw a gobbler near the tank. Within 30 minutes of calling, believe I had that same gobbler sneak up to within 50 yards of me. He started moving out on me and the 50-60 yard shot missed the mark.

Around 11:00 my calling brought in two big gobblers but unfortunately the stayed about 100 yards out as the moved through, too far for the 1100 Remi. Though not scoring, it was a fun short day hunt with a lot of activity around me...
