What is the recommend distance when hunting turkey with a shotgun n with a bow. Please advice thanks

50 yards with a good shotgun load, 20-30 with a bow.

50yds w a shotgun and you Will wound birds. Don't care what you're setup is that is to far (TSS is a dif story). I've spent 100s if not more like 1000s patterning my gun and 50yds is unethical IMO. I thought I could but learned the hard way. If they aren't inside 35yds or so just enjoy the hunt and try them again.

Just pattern your gun and you can figure out what is safe or ethical for you. Some of the new shotguns with ong barrels, tight chokes, and shooting 3-1/2" shells will really reach out there.
