I killed 2 in someones backyard in 75093 on the 9th in the middle of the day. I'd seen them there before and have been carrying a suppressed 22 with me for a few weeks to get them with.

+2. 42. Last weekend, one with a Remington Mohawk 600 at about 105 yards, the other with a Tikka Roughtek in 7mm Rem Mag @ 339 yards. Both of these were while hog hunting. We've all blown up a few coyotes, me included but the long shot with the 7mm......check out the entry and exit. I literally watched the steam come off of him through my scope on that cool morning.

Bagged my first career coyote, was out hog hunting with a Mosin and saw one but was feeling pretty good about seeing some hogs so held off, but then I remembered I still had my 17 HMR from squirrel hunting earlier so I pulled up an injured rabbit call and another one showed up. 20 grain XTP dropped it in its tracks at about 75 yards. It was probably only about 12-15 pounds, definitely not one someone would think was a red wolf. They both looked very hungry and didn't seem to care I was there. The drought is really bad here.

This was a healthy fat aggressive dog.

71 & 72 (Dec 28 & 29)

Female and male from the Panhandle. These are probably the healthiest dogs with the best coats I've ever shot. Seem to be higher numbers this year. Had a pack (5 or 6) at about 250 one morning but just couldn't get a good rest for a shot to pick a couple off from the deer stand I was in. Pretty odd angle.
