It would be a good sound. I have killed coyotes in the winter it. I use a jackrabbit some. But no jacket rabbits for 100's of miles from me. U will call deer in with it. I had a few to try to run over my fox pro.

Yes, use it all the time with good success, especially on the ultrasonic caller.
