Going old school

Well I made my second trip this year to double k outfitters. It's a 20 hr trip from my house so they obviously must be doing something right. This trip was more for my fiance than me but I never pass up a shot at some hogs. I made the decision that my grandpa's 100 plus year old rifle needed to shoot some bacon this trip. After we had each shot couple hogs and my favorite hunting partner got her buck. I went out with the old 30-40 krag. I was sitting over a hot water hole. After about 20min the hogs started streaming in. When the smoke cleared I had 3 good eaters down. I gave Kelly a call because I had some cleaning to do and it was hot! About the time I thought I had to much work to do I heard my partner blasting. We ended up with 5 hogs that night! If you want a great place to hunt hogs look them up on Facebook.
