Its Almost That Time!

With temperatures in the upper 70s here in South Tx it is starting to feel like hog hunting weather!. I have been working on pig pipes all weekend and getting some new stands brushed in. Im looking forward to this Spring, there should be plenty of hogs running around with the wetter than normal winter that we have had.

on the wetter than norm winters. Deer & hogs pretty much not seen at feeders, food plot, & the deer attractance been pudding out this year. beginning ta think it 4 deer county, cause thats all thats left. Last pic of a deer on cam was Nov. 16th. Did find deer tracks at feeder few days ago. Batteries were being recharged pretty good size track's. Been hopen ta get better pic of few deer seen on cam before gun season. We had pretty good rain fall here. Thinking part of reason why deer not hitting feeders, plenty of brows. Good ta here parts that needed moisture got some trying for hog with laser for en & chillen. Best wishes

25* here with a wind chill of 16*, I don't know much about hunting hogs, but that would be cold for me!

Been seeing skinny Hogs here too. I bet they will be glad too when things green up.

That would be hard for me. I hunt mostly tripods all year long. Don't like being enclosed in a box, can't see as much.

We still saw a good amount of deer but you could definitely tell that they had a lot of browse.
