Trapline funny...

I'm a diehard fan of .22 CB shorts for dispatching critters....

SO I ran out and decided to give the Aguila .22 Colibri sub-sonics a try...only a 20grain projectile with zero powder just relying on the primer charge.

Yeap, they are super quiet!!




First coon kinda laughed as I shot him in the forehead as the little 20gr projectile smacked him in the forehead, then slid off onto the dirt beside him....I SWEAR HE LAUGHED!!!!

I looked over at my son and he was already laughing....then he said...Dad we need to go back home and grab a box of .22 longs..


Needless to say they are worthless..lol

I have about 500 rds of these things and they are quite and don't even tickle the coon, I use them to shoot rats around camp, I'm sure even the rats die of laughter more then anything

I got some CCI quiet. 40 grain, 740 fps. very quiet. Should do the deed on a coon

Yep they do just fine. 50fpe at the muzzle.

bought some the other day too... In a henry rifle the hammer is louder than the shot!
