Hi, I was sent a X Sight to look over. This first video I was just seeing how well the scope held a zero and if the picture was any good. This may be a decent unit for someone who is on a budget and cannot afford a thermal or night vision.

It has a built in micro SD card slot and full HD video can be recorded or single and burst still pics taken.

ATN advised they are getting out of the first gen night vision business and these digital scopes will take the place of that line.

Not impressed with the lack of crosshairs in the video and the off center view.

Good daylight clarity, however.

And now the video is gone.

I think the production models will have the crosshairs in recorded footage. When I shoot for group, I pick out a target away from my POI as to not concentrate on the shots fired.

So you didn't have a production model? Changes are still being made? That is a bummer on one hand as it means they are not likely to be meeting the August date either for getting out initial orders.

Talk to them about that. I have shot one, handled one, and know its capabilities. I feel the end user will get a lot for the price paid. There was a miscommunication on when I had permission to release any footage that I have so I took it down. One guy said yes, the one up from him said no after I posted yesterday.

There will be more released. As always...."There Will Be Blood"

Again, this scope is a perfect fit for those who want to video their deer hunts easily and want a night vision setup for the cost of a decent day scope. It has a THOR control pad and similar looks.

Hoop -

Thanks for clarifyng, all is understandable.

By the way they picked the right guy for the job in my opinion, you are an upper echelon hunter and I look forward to Digital versions of "There Will Be Blood".

Can I request a little "Somebody call 9-1-1" audio overlay, love that aspect of your vids!

Thanks, I try and conduct reviews from the end user's perspective.

I have your 800 yd kill BTW. I made it with my .308 Winchester Bolt gun. "One Shot...One Squeal"

If that 800 yard shot meets the criteria of the other thread post it up so we can oogle and google over it.

He was looking to do thermal in front of a day sight not dedicated scope at 800 yards.

Thx
