Are cougars legal to hunt?

Just wondering cause a female friend of mine says the cat tracks (she said it was a bobcat) she has around her house were about 2 inches in diameter.

I'm fixing her broken game camera and maybe soon I'll know.

I presume Cougar taste like chicken.

2 inch diameter tracks, good size bobcat or baby cougar.

Cougar's are wonderful game and can be hunted year round, be careful though some are true wild cats

Yes, but the State asks us to report all kills so they can track them. You just need a regular hunting license.

You might start huntin them cougars between 9-10 in the evening at the local watering hole. Put on your fancy duds and a little cover scent and don't forget to keep your gun really clean.

We had a mountain lion/cougar come through our hunting area in the fall. I saw the tracks walking in and thought it was a big bobcat. The game camera revealed that I was mistaken....

Definitely makes you think twice when you are walking to/from your stand in the dark.

Ok guys, thanks.

If I can't get her camera to work I have three of my own and I want to see that critter.

My game cameras this year have just once photoed a bobcat, lots of deer, and a few ugly hogs so I'm sure with some kitty food I can get them to come in for a photo op.

And as for the taste of chicken... well I really hate to kill anything except if I eat it or it's trying to eat me.

I always thought both were not usually eaten. I learn something new every day.
