Heres a pic of one of my hog bait mixtures

Thanks for all the ideas for hog bait. Here is a picture of one of the buckets i made up. 5 Gallon bucket with 2 Gallons of milk, 3 jars of GRAPE koolade powder (makes 8 quarts each), and about 20 pounds of corn. Put the lid on and placed in my hot garage, this is a picture the next day when i took the lid off to release the pressure i did not know it would make. I am hunting with it this weekend so hopefully i will have pictures to show come Monday. Also have another bucket made up with corn and Diesel.

finger licking good. how do you plan on using it? feeder tube, in a hole or just out on the ground? keep us posted how it worked. do you have hogs where you hunt or trying to get them in?

I think i am going to just put it on the ground. This weekend i am going to a friends 4,400 acre lease and they have a hog problem.

i think your mix will get them in to where you want. the problem i found with the garage cooked home brews is that you use it faster than you can make it especially when the weather cools off. lately i have been using a mix of one bag of sweet/horse and mule feed and two bags of corn. i fill hog pipes next to the feeder and pour a line out on the ground when we are hunting. the pigs in my area are hooked on it. we have shot a pig one night under the feeder and had them back two days later eating the feed off the other pigs blood. when that feed gets wet from the rain, it gives off a smell that only a pig could love.

are you set up for night time hunting? ours are still coming in after dark. good luck.

best thing about our product is that its READY no mixing! NO BAD smell! when I head to the ranch for a day I grab one bag of corn and one bottle or pig crazy or hog draw and my AR or .308

What I love about what I use its free..i get sweet bread waste from a bakery of a ol'friend of mine I steel use corn doe cant beat it..

Yes i am set up for night hunting. More than likely i will hit the stand around 7 or 8PM and sit out there till i get one or run out of beverages. lol

sounds like you hunt like me.. I like to sit out with a buddy of mine and have some drinks and shoot at hogs/yotes/bobcats last time we went out we had 1 of each come out and we were super loud the whole time

Its all about having a good time. Its to peaceful out there to not have a good time.

How do the pigs like the sweet bread. Im sure i can find a bakery or donut shop around here that is going to throw some out that i can take off for them.

Well, first evening in the stand with my mixture and the pigs came charging in. Will post pictures of the dead pigs we found on Sunday. Tired of tracking blood trail on 300 lbs boar, shot was a little high so no telling where he went.

Salter!!! If you were to serve some sweet tea with that sweet bread, the hogs would have to fight me for it!!!!
