Timber doodles at the deer lease - 12/19/21 09:47 PM
Saw one while deer hunting in the bottom a few weeks back. Today I took the pointing dog out to check them. Sun made my dogs head look white. He looks like an old man in one of the pics but is 5 1/2 and in his prime.

Big fat ones and my favorite bird. Being a forester these little birds are right in my wheelhouse.

I wanted to catch a few pics of Cricket on point but the pointed birds and dog were in such thickets it was not to be. We probably both lost a pint of blood today. One of the deer hunters at camp did snap our pic at camp on the way to the house.
