I have two coming up for God's adoption in the next couple of years. I am not looking forward to it. We have a pet cemetery on the ranch where all my dog's are resting. Each time I go by, I just smile, tip my hat and think of all the good hunts we had and the cattle they worked for me. They gave their all and I gave them the best life they could have ever had. I did my part and they did theirs. All we can do is miss them and never forget them. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss I buried my rat dog yesterday she was 15. I have had dogs all my life labs and English pointers, and have a great pointer that is 5 left. It hurts so much in my golden years to lose them I just might be done with dogs. So hard on me to lose them.

I have experienced the anguish of such a loss several times. I have adopted Spinones as my breed of choice. No breed is as loving. loyal and attentive as this breed, When you loose one a part of your soul is wrenched out. Any time you loose a best friend regardless of breed the pain lingers until the void is filled by another best friend!!! Fill the void
