Anyone finding more quail now that you can keep your dogs on the ground longer?
My young dog found 2 covies first thing this morning. Took one bird, got a nice retrieve.got skunked last week. All 3 pointers have bloody tails after the morning hunt. It’s cool enough in south texas to hunt all day today, if you had enough dogs.
