Can anyone give me any reports or advice on this area? I have an opportunity to hunt this county late season and I figure it’s mainly blues. My dogs hunt Kansas from nov to end of jan and find lots of quail but nothing like I’ve experienced in good years in Tx. I’ve never hunted that far west. My dogs are trained for quail but there are plenty of pheasants at my place in KS so they know how to hunt a running bird. We worked one good covey or blues 4 years ago near Anson Tx and killed one but we got up a covey of bobs chasing them so didn’t pursue. Thanks for any help!
