Just out of curiosity - has anyone been up that way this year? Wondering if it is worth the trip.

I've hunted in years past and it was always good. No idea about this year, though.

We hunted there for 1 day and only found 1 covey. We had 4 solid dogs with us.

Man - all this quail talk is depressing. guess we will just have to go to New Mexico or go dust off the fly rods.
As I've seen Bill Oxner say - "The end is near" - maybe he is right!
