Got a report from the SD-ND boarder. Thick cover, real green, but seem to be quite a few birds. Lots of young pheasants.

Thanks for the report Chet. When I last looked at the US drought monitor map using the week to week animation feature, the bottom half of ND and the other four states due north of us have had virtually zero drought every week since the first of the year. I predict this will be a killer year for the traveling bird hunter.

Bobby I've got 3 up north with Virgil and getting good reports on the two shooting dogs and little less positive on my coming derby. She runs a lot but all over the place (I told Virgil this spring she's about half crazy) but a bunch of point. Needs to hit some birds to straighten that out. Great for a young or old dog.
