Opening Weekend in Kansas?

We went Opening weekend for youth. We got back last night. It was a blast. Lots of birds.

What part of the state did you hunt?

We were in SW Kansas.

We always do public land. I am trying to get back up there in the next week or two.

Where were you near? How were the numbers. I always go up once or twice to the Mullinville/Coldwater area. Just wondering about numbers this year. Unusual for me, I haven't even been able to plan a trip.

Yes. Very cold and windy. If someone would have suggested we go to breakfast after the first field I am sure there would have been many takers. We hung in there and did get some birds. Saw lots of hens. Probably 3 to 1 vs cocks.
