TP&WD Panhandle Pheasant Road Survey 2015- Any Reports or Update

Any new reports on Texas Panhandle pheasant numbers. In past years the TP&WD put out results of fall road survey sightings. I can't find any reports this year.

Birds numbers are looking a lot better than the past few years. We have a small group coming up opening weekend, so we will see exactly what they are! I have been seeing more quail than the last 10 years combined this year.

Seeing pretty good numbers here, popular opinion is that we will be at 60-70% of normal population this year. I agree with silver dogs, quail numbers here are better than we have ever had.

I was walking into a duck hole yesterday morning about 6:30 and was reminded about how well the pheasant population is doing...

Headed to Hart this weekend for first ever pheasant hunt. Can't wait.
