Out of State Duck Hunting - 05/13/22 12:10 AM
Ok, last season was all pumped up. Got a duck lease close to the house.
Day 1 - come see the tank and see if you want to do this. About 100 birds jumped up!
Opening Day - nothing
.
.
.
.
End of season recap - fired 4 shots.
And while this spot has typically produced birds, last season just sucked.
With that said, if you were going to go out of state, where would you go?
In Texas I'm done with public. At least here in the Hill Country. Not enough duck hunting public oppertunities, and the birds flight patterns have just changed.
But don't get me wrong. If I can hunt the same tank next season, i will.
Do have ideas of what could have helped us do better. But still feel things have changed.
#stop hunting up north in flooded corn!
