Full bodies or silhouettes - 02/08/22 10:37 PM

Have a few spots that I can put dekes up on the bank to add some realism to the spread.

Trying to decide between full body mallards or silhouette mallards.

What would yall go with?

^This^.
The only advantage of silhouettes is transporting them and price.

My problem with mallards and silhouettes is I hunt mallards in the south. They are already jumpy and looking for some reason to bug out. They always get on top of the blind and the spread, swinging that head and neck back in forth, looking. So I say full body all the way.

I think tall are right, full bodies are the way to go. Now I've got to find the right ones. Ghg makes a resting/Sleeper pack but it appears they may have been discontinued.

Buy used. Search on here. search MarketPlace on FB, specifically waterfowl garage sale.

I have had good luck with the ghg field decoys. A light breeze moves them just right
