Coastal hunt recommendations

Coastal hunt recommendations - 01/02/22 06:44 PM

Looking to head to the coast for 22/23 season. Will likely be early season. Open to hunting anywhere along the coast. Would prefer a guide that runs an airboat, or atleast runs the public bay system.

Anyone have any recommendations on a good guide?

I'm in dallas, willing to drive where ever as I plan to hunt atleast 2 days if not 3 or 4. No boat which is why I'm looking for a guide who preferably runs an airboat

Try to find a guide to put you in the marsh --------- if you are in open water, basically all you will get a shot at is red heads ( I think ) ,, When I hunted the limit was 2, and the hunt was over.

One thing I will recommend is that if you hunt the marsh have at least two cans of repellant. The blood suckers down there show no mercy for you or your dog if you have one.
