New to Dove. Need advice

Hey guys I live near Hutto and wanna get out and shoot some dove.
I don't really mind if its a day lease or public land, I'd just like to
go with a few people to get the hang of it. I already have a shotgun and plenty of ammo
and 2 mojo decoys. I am a Disabled Vet "OEF" like most on here so not looking for a handout
but more of just some guys to hunt with and learn the spots and sport. Thanks.

I’d imagine you have obtained a license with the needed certifications?
Hunters Ed if needed?

I have a lease near Thorndale, have not even hunted it yet, about 300 acres of sunflowers ------- when the birds show up I will let you know and see if you want to go with me one afternoon. Sort of waiting for some type of front to come in and drive the new birds 'south'.
