Closed out the season with 25 more mallards. Really thought yesterday in the pouring rain and today with overcast skis and 25+mph winds we would not do well, but glad I was wrong. Finished with 125 mallards in 4 days.

I'd say 90% of the 356 birds killed out of that blind this year were with either a .410 or 28ga.

That's awesome. On our place I shot 2 Canadas the first Saturday, 2 ringnecks the next Saturday, missed a ringneck the next Saturday, and for the next several weeks, didn't even get a shot at a good bird. The good thing is that I hit 80% of my birds - has to be a record for me.

Horrible year for us. Even the divers that usually come didn't come this ear. So glad to see someone have some birds!
