Mallard/wood duck guide

Mallard/wood duck guide - 08/16/20 05:18 PM

Living in southeast Texas, we dont see either of these really. Never have killed either. Buddy wants a wood duck, I want a mallard

Guide recommendations for these birds this season? I was thinking somewhere on the Trinity river/Livingston since it's closer to home but I'd make a drive for the right person

Thanks

Hanson outdoors or red leg outfitters should be able to hook you up.

I would make the drive to the Plains, get on the ducks, the geese, and sandhills.

Have a sandhill hunt already planned out.

I'll check out Hanson and Red Leg.

Any other suggestions from anyone? I'd really like to find someone that does the Trinity river since it's close to home, and I can learn how to hunt it to go buy myself eventually
