Incredible dove numbers - 08/06/20 01:19 AM

Enjoyed great hospitality at J and A Ranch Sunday through Tuesday. Sitting on the front porch Tuesday the groups of whitewing were crazy. Had to have seen at least a thousand dove flying in field in front of cabin. Thanks again and hope to be back. Opening day of dove season should be epic!

Enjoyed having you and your wife out Wildhair. There were birds here yesterday morning, but not as many as you and I saw.

I hope they stick around too, but you never know about whitewings, here one day, gone the next.

Drove out north of Tye, more birds on the highline wires than last week.

Hard to tell. Sometimes scout day before, front blows in night before, all gone. Waaay to early. Scouting today pretty worthless outside of finding food sources

Truth. Monday and Tuesday I had incredible numbers of Whitewings, Maybe a 10th of that number here now. They come and go and then come back, just never know. I quit try to predict birds a long time ago.
