Nice job. Like I did this Monday for a Tuesday AM hunt, it's just amazing the amount of stuff we have to pack in our trucks to go get 6 ducks. Your photo looks just like my truck looks like many times a year. LOL.

Tell the truth...Did you water swat those ruddy's or did they actually fly in? Rarely do I see those odd little ducks get off the water. Great work!

My son complains about all the stuff we pack for hunting. One of these days I'm going to tell him to pack and see how we do. It will be my luck we will have 12 decoys, two shotguns and some shells and will have a banner day.

Killing ducks isn't a sign of being a good hunter, it's a sign of being a logistics savant.

Well said amigo. Well said. Damn sure is fun watching those creatures fly while having coffee and watching the sunrise on another day to be alive.

Not sure how well those Ruddy's will eat (actually I am certain they won't) but I think Widgeon are the smartest ducks that come thru Texas...and if you whistle just right they will whistle back and end up feet hanging ...the upside of Ruddy Ducks...just like Shovelors...the Lab thinks they are ducks....

What else do you need? Used to hunt with a guy, all we’d pack in was shotguns, maybe a dozen beat up decoys, a piece of camo netting and some shells. Had some really good hunts.
