Duck Boat Blind

Duck Boat Blind - 10/17/19 12:54 AM

I am almost finished turning my duck boat into a duck blind. I did a lot of research before deciding on the frame and materials. I used panels of woven grass and stitched them with hemp twine to another panel of camo burlap to help strengthen them. I am pretty satisfied with the results.

I was wondering who has made one of these and if anyone has any tips that would help me out? Any advice would help!

Nice job....I am looking into them as well. I am kinda leaning toward the Banded axe Blind. They have some good videos on you tube.

Pick you up some cheap camo dark green and black spray paint from Walmart and paint the grass. Try to match the grass you will be hunting. the first time I took mine out it stood out like a sore thumb and the ducks wouldn't come anywhere near us.

I would also try to rig something up to put over the top. If they fly over you or come from behind you are SOL.
