Duck Hunting - 12/31/18 09:38 PM

Been hunting deer and turkey for about 15 years now and I'm finally looking to get into duck hunting. What would be some good things to know and some tips as I'm getting into it and learning more about the sport?

I'd say start going through this sub forum and look for my posts I started about waders and duck calls.
I'd also read the thread favorite duck load.
I'll even do you a favor, I'll bump them up to the top.

I've also found a YouTube channel called outdoor limits, I do like his stuff and learn a little bit from it.

Be patient and let the birds come in.

Appreciate it and I've actually been watching a lot of videos from the Outdoor Limits channel trying to learn

Welcome, he's young, and definitely doesn't know it all, but he adapts and learns.

I like freelance duck hunters better then out door limits.

Bobby guy films is another good one. Especially for geese but he hunts a lot of ducks and pigeon also.

Went out alone Sunday on my first ever duck hunt and killed my first duck. Had a blast saw a bunch of birds got a little too selective on what i wanted too shoot but was a great time for my first hunt ever. Safe to say im hooked now [Linked Image]
