Mojo floaters

Any experience with them? I think it would be easier, faster and can be used in more situations than using pole mounted spinners but looking for others experiences or opinions. Only draw back IMO is the floating "disc" looks like it could be visible and I'm not sure if that affects anything.

I used to have one of those. In the middle of a spread the disc did not seem to flare birds. Be careful, I was changing the battery on a hunt while it was raining and the insides got a little wet. Shorted it out and never worked again. Somehow although it was two years old, Cabelas took it back. That was 10 years ago so presumably the design is better now.

I've seen a pole mounted spinner fall over in 3 to 5 feet of water during a hunt. It was located and worked again, but at first we were worried it may have been lost.

We use one in deep water. Just like any other spinner though. They have their place.
