Got camo, got ammo

Got camo, got ammo - 08/31/18 03:15 PM

I'm ready! Gonna be hunting a cornfield in Morris, OK tomorrow (south of Tulsa about 25 miles). Scouted it out Tuesday afternoon and it was loaded with birds. Didn't see much flying but once we started walking around, they showed themselves!

Been seeing a ton of dove around Tulsa the last couple weeks just driving around town. Hopefully we'll be set up on the sweet spot!

Hoping to limit out at a decent time and be on the couch in front of the TV at 11am for OU Kickoff. I doubt I'll move much until bedtime LOL. Perfect Saturday

Don’t shoot em all. This will start moving them south with all your misses.g elmer

Best dove hunting I’ve ever had was in Oklahoma around NE of Altus. Low flying birds in large groups. Sat next to a fence post in a little ditch between a wheat field and a pond. Had to duck several times to keep from being hit by doves falling. 6 people hunting and all had limits in less than 30 minutes. Spent more time picking up doves than shooting. I miss hunting up there. confused2
